Jason Mok

Jason Mok serves as Director of Family Office Services at FOP, where he leads the firm’s integrated approach to serving ultra-high-net-worth families across their full financial picture; working closely with our clients and investment advisors to help coordinate every aspect of their financial picture, bringing together investment management, tax strategy, and estate structuring and other complex planning needs into one cohesive experience.

Jason brings a unique blend of technical expertise and hands-on operating experience to his role. Over more than a decade in Big Four public accounting, Jason began his career in EY’s Assurance Practice, before transitioning to Transfer Pricing, ultimately serving as a Director at PwC. There he advised clients ranging from multinational pharmaceutical companies to leading energy and oilfield services businesses. His work focused on international tax planning, transfer pricing, and cross-border structuring, partnering closely with International Tax and M&A Tax teams on complex planning and compliance matters.

For nearly eight years, Jason served as Chief Operating Officer of a Houston-based single family office, where he oversaw a broad range of responsibilities spanning commercial real estate investment, tax coordination, liquidity management, and the full personal CFO function for an ultra-high-net-worth family. During this time, he also served as an Operating Partner in multiple Houston-based hospitality concepts, including FM Kitchen & Bar and PKL Social, bringing an operator’s perspective and real-world experience in strategy, execution and client service to his work with families today.

Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University, where he was a member and captain of the NCAA Division I men’s tennis team, and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Virginia.

Originally from Australia, Jason lives in Houston with his wife, Stephanie, and their two sons, Lucas and Leo. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and playing competitive pickleball, including competing in select PPA Tour professional events.
