Linda Malin,
CFP®, CRPS®, CDFA®, CEPA®Linda is a Partner, Managing Director, and Director of Planning at Family Office Partners. She has been providing financial advice and customized solutions to clients since 1989. Her journey into the profession began with a personal drive to build financial security for herself and her family, an experience that shaped her disciplined approach to planning, action, and long-term monitoring. Over the years, she has developed a deep appreciation for managing risk and helping clients navigate its ups and downs. Linda holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, which she earned in 2008 to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in financial planning.
At Family Office Partners, Linda brings decades of experience and personal insight to her advisory work. Prior to her current role, she was a financial advisor with the Exit Planning and Wealth Consulting Group at UBS, where she spent many years guiding clients through all stages of their financial lives.
Outside the office, Linda and her husband, Bill Miller, are active in the New Orleans community. She serves as Chair of the Enforcement Committee and as a member of the Finance Committee for the French Quarter Management District (FQMD), a state entity dedicated to preserving the French Quarter as a safe and vibrant neighborhood. A graduate of LSU, Linda grew up in the Midwest and Northeast and is an enthusiastic supporter of the UL Ragin’ Cajuns, the LSU Tigers, and both the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans.

1Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®):The Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification is a professional designation conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. To attain the right to use the CFP® marks, an individual must meet education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements related to financial planning. Certificants must also complete ongoing continuing education to maintain the designation.
2Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist℠ (CRPS®): Issued by the College for Financial Planning, the CRPS® designation is for financial professionals who specialize in creating, implementing, and maintaining retirement plans for businesses. Earning the designation requires completing a specialized course of study and passing an exam on topics like plan design, fiduciary responsibilities, and ERISA compliance. Designees must complete ongoing continuing education requirements to maintain the credential.
3Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®): Granted by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA), the CDFA® designation is for professionals who help clients and their legal counsel with the financial complexities of divorce. The curriculum covers property division, support, and long-term financial projections. To earn the designation, candidates must complete a course of study, pass an exam, and meet experience requirements.
4Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®): Awarded by the Exit Planning Institute, the CEPA® designation is designed for professionals who work with business owners on exit planning strategies. To earn the credential, candidates must complete a four-day executive MBA-style program, pass a comprehensive examination, and adhere to a code of ethics and continuing education requirements.
